English for Bible College Students

Strong English comprehension is essential for understanding all subjects, especially spelling, vocabulary, and public speaking in today’s global language.

Ministry Matters

Kevin Hall & James Wyatt

Topics cover ministry calling, pastoral transitions, church leadership, counseling challenges, funerals, problem situations, and managing time, finances, and personal matters.

Christian Family

Siphosethu Bonga

This course teaches biblical family principles, strengthening homes through God’s design, spiritual parenting, and effective family counseling.

Apologetics

Khona Nohamba

This course equips students to defend the Christian faith through biblical apologetics, sound reasoning, and clear responses to common objections.

Finances

Jeremy Hall

This course teaches biblical money management, covering attitudes, budgeting, debt, investing, and ethics.

Sewing for Ladies

Corli Hall

This course teaches ladies practical sewing skills, including garment making, alterations, and creative fabric projects for home and personal use.

Home Economics for Ladies

Corli Hall

This course equips ladies with practical home economics skills, including cooking, nutrition, budgeting, household management, and efficient daily living.

Credit System & Study Load

Each semester has 16 weeks

There are 2 semesters per year

1 Credit Hour (CH) = 1 hour of classroom instruction per week, per semester

Each subject includes 2 hours of classroom instruction per week

Each subject = 2 Credit Hours

Credit Requirements

Associate Degree: 60 Credit Hours

Bachelor Degree: 120 Credit Hours

If a class is failed, no credit hours are awarded, and the class must be repeated or replaced.

Subjects & Enrichment Modules

Each semester, students complete:

5 Classroom Subjects

Enrichment Modules (equivalent to 2.5 subjects)

Enrichment Modules may include approved external programs (such as Faith Bible Institute) and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Overall Requirement

Two-thirds of coursework must be completed at Bay Baptist Bible College

One-third may be completed through approved external programs

Weekly Class Schedule

Tuesday

1:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Class 1

3:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Class 2

6:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Faith Bible Institute (time may vary)

Wednesday

8:00 am – 10:00 am: Class 1

10:00 am – 12:00 pm: Class 2

1:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Class 3
